My Dearest, Daring Sparky,

Well Sparky hows every little thing today fin I hope. Will Baby I'm a very happy boy today I received my mail and I got seven letter from you that were as god as gold, and they said just what i wanted them to say, darling you don't have to worry about me finding any other girls because theres only one I want and thats you, Besides Baby were skipping out the 8th of next month and you know theres no girls where were going. thats for sure. Well chick you sure give me a nice surprise when you said you had your picture taking, and darling I really want one so I can set it by my bunk and see you beside me ever night so I can have pleasnt dreams.

I was glad to hear you were over and seen the folks. they like you  alot, and they should have my picture by now so just go up to the house and get one. moms expecting you to. Well Darling I can honeslty say I haven't been out with a girl sense I was out with you. I was at gunners school last week and last night was my first liberty, and I didn't get to go on that because as I was about ready to go out the gate some officer stop me and took my I.D. card away for not saluting him and for not have my cuffs down or my hat square. So you can see [?] was in trouble again, but I talk my way out of that one this morning.

Well Baby as you can see I'm in a U.S.O. I came in here to right letters while Ed. is getting readdy so he will be waiting for me so tell Granny and Sis hello and I'll sign off for now.

All my love
All my life
Louis

PS I love you
I miss you darling
